Get on those dancing shoes!

The L.A.B. (Little Auditorium in the Back), one of Seattle’s premiere all-ages venues, has a show set for today (Sunday, Aug. 8) sure to incite a dancing riot in anyone young or old. The ingredients include touring L.A. band The Tender Box, bringing to Seattle a mix of 90s angst rock and dark, brooding British danceable songs; Seattle fan favorite Shotty, and indie rock heavy hitters To The Sea and Fit For Hounds.

Shotty will headline this show. The show will open with To The Sea at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

On their West Coast Summer 2010 tour The Tender Box will tour with such acts as The Hundred Days, My Morning Jacket, Exene Cervenka, Ape Machine, and Lady Danville.

Among the kid generation The Tender Box is celebrated for its penning of the theme song to the WB network’s newest cartoon: “The Spectacular Spider Man.” The group also performed a sold out UK tour in 2007 with 90s rock group Goo Goo Dolls.

The group also has appeared on the Carson Daily Show and recently recorded with iconic producer Jack Douglas (known for his work with John Lennon, Aerosmith, and Cheap Trick).
